This lid is designed to offer maximum stability, especially when working with heavier stills or off-center steam condenser units. It allows you to monitor your wash as it boils, helping you spot any foaming or potential overflow issues. If you're brewing indoors, the steam condenser lid set is a great solution, allowing you to add hops or salts by simply removing the 3" sight glass—no need to take off the entire lid (exercise caution when hot).

PPSU was selected for its exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to 200°C) and corrosive substances, as well as its impact resistance. This plastic has superior thermal and mechanical properties while being transparent, allowing for intricate injection-molded parts that would be difficult to achieve with stainless steel or lab-grade glass. Due to its unique properties, PPSU comes at a significantly higher cost per kg compared to other industrial plastics, even more expensive than stainless steel.
