Tubes and Pythons
Calibrated food grade hoses designed for the routing of beer, wine, lemonade and pressurized gases.
Usual use of hoses according to size:
6mm (1/4") - previously used for pressurising barrel with 600 and 1000g bomb
8mm (5/16") - pressurization of barrels with air, CO2 and N2
9,5mm (3/8") - beer path guidance, pressurizing
12,7mm (1/2") - aftercooling of beer paths in the python (for use in water coolers), beer path lines (Plzeňský Prazdroj)
Python - set of insulated beer hoses with aftercooling circuit. The aftercooling circuit is usually run in 12.7mm hoses - one hose carries the cooled water to the tap stand and the other returns to the under-table cooling, ensuring that the beverage is cooled along the entire length of the beer line (from the beer cooler to the tap)
